'Dillinger' aka Lester Bullock, a Jamaican reggae and dancehall artist. Dillinger is known for his contributions to the reggae and dancehall genres in the 1970s and 1980s. He gained recognition for his deejaying style, which involved "toasting" or rhythmic chanting over instrumental tracks.

Dillinger had numerous reggae hits and collaborations with other reggae artists, and he was part of the vibrant Jamaican music scene during that era. Some of his well-known songs include "Cocaine in My Brain" and "Natty Sings a Hit Song."

Dillinger’s sparring partner on this album is 'Trinity' aka Wade Brammer, who was active during the 1970s and 1980s. Trinity as Dillinger, is best known for deejaying over reggae and dancehall tracks.

Clash albums became very popular at the tail end of the 1970’s and into the 1980’s with both singers and deejays competing against each other track by track.

Deejay music has become part of popular culture with expert rappers, but when this album was recorded very few beyond Jamaica would have known of this particular art form as the major force in this style, US rap, was still a couple of years away.

It shows without doubt that Jamaica may be a small island but its influence on the world music scene was and still is huge, and long may it continue
